The sense of community, the cleanliness of the area, the quiet neighborhood is all amazing. When I was finding this apartment, Jared Farris from the office was outstanding with helping me find my new home. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I have lived in the Meridian on Shelbyville for several years and have always been treated with respect by all the staff. My comment today is concerning their maintenance team with one particular team member in mind, Andy. Andy has taken care of several of my maintenance request over the years and always done an excellent job no matter what the request is for. Andy is knowledgeable in all areas i.e. plumbing, electrical, heating, smoke detectors, etc. Several times upon his visits I have ask him for guidance on other projects and how I should go about handling. He is always willing to discuss so I make sure to proceed in the right direction. Another quality of Andy’s, he always cleans up, never leaving anything untidy. Thank you Andy for being such a knowledgeable and dependable member of the maintenance staff at Meridian! Diana

I moved in 2 weeks ago and love it. The staff is so professional and nice. My apartment has so much natural light (windows are extremely insulated). My apartment is extremely quiet. I’ve lived in many apartment complexes and the Meridian is one of the very best. I just had a couple of minor issues in the last few days and they were corrected the very next day. Maintenance called me to make sure that my furries would be ok to enter without me present (which they were). My border collie, cat and I are thrilled with the Meridian.

Just want to give Evan, our maintenance technician, a big thank you for being extremely professional and going the extra mile after hours on a Friday evening. He came to fix the air conditioner unit that did not go until late in the afternoon. He came with a smile and even after it was fixed, he brought up the 100 lb portable unit to make sure I was comfortable for the weekend. That’s what I call going above and beyond, and I appreciate it!

i have been living here for the last year and a half and my family loves it! staff is always super friendly and always goes above and beyond! several times they have tracked down our mail that got misplaced, maintenance always comes out quickly and they work super efficiently! we love the salt water pool in the summer! have yet to meet an unfriendly neighbor never have an issue with parking and they even host plenty of events in the main building! sitting off the main road so it’s truly so quiet! the lawn, trees and other landscaping is always well kept too.

Jared was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the rental properties at Meridian on Shelbyville as well as other apartment communities owned by Hills Properties. He showed me the model home and took the time to point out every detail while comparing and contrasting it to other available units at Meridian. The property is located in the heart of Middletown while having the feel of being in a quiet, secluded location with many sides surrounded by mature tree growth. Meridian is a very nice upscale rental community with plenty of open, meticulously manicured landscaping and I hope to call it home in the near future.

Had an issue with the garbage disposal unit last night after over two years of living in my apartment. Indeed the garbage disposal was not brand new when I moved in as I am not the first tenant to occupy my apartment. I placed a maintenance request and the maintenance team arrived first thing this morning! They arrived with a brand new garbage disposal unit to replace the malfunctioning one attached to my sink. They were super professional and performed an effective manner as they always do! The new garbage disposal works wonderfully!

AC units are installed outside in the storage room in patio, and the apartments have silent dishwashers. If you love the silence, this is the place to go to! I have honestly never been more impressed with another apartment complex. When I say this place is beautiful, I mean it! I’ve looked over these pictures that are available online for the Meridian on Shelbyville and they are real pictures, every picture you see is exactly what it looks like in real life. On top of everything else, the rental rates aren’t nearly as high as I would have expected for a place this nice!

Walked in with no appointment looking for information about 1B 1B apartment. Ryan the Leasing Consultant came out and talked about all the different layouts. Unfortunately we could not tour a 1B, however we toured a model unit. Unit was a 2B, and he described in vivid details the 1B layout. He was great and I was able to visualize the layout. Due to his hospitality, I will be putting in an application to rent!

Love Living Here! The Meridian on Shelbyville is a beautiful, quiet community nestled back in a prime location in Middletown. If you do not know the community is here, you wouldn’t know. Alyssa and her office team, Ryan and Michael are nothing short of amazing. Whenever I’m in the office, I am greeted with a warm welcome, they are always ready and willing to assist with anything I need and answer all my questions. What I love about the office staff is that you’re not treated like just another tenanted, they are very personable, chat with you and get to know you. They create a very harmonious atmosphere. There are community activities monthly (Food trucks, movie night, Super Bowl parties,) The property is well maintained and clean. My favorite part is hanging out at the clubhouse and patio, it’s very serene.

The maintenence responds quickly. The walls a bit thin but that’s apartment living for ya. I am very thankful for Alyssa’s help and would recommend this place to other people!
