So far, me and my boyfriend have lived here coming up on two months. The staff is amazing, and they always recognize you and say hello. Kitchen space is spacious, as well as space in the apartment is general. Rent is going to be high for the time being, as it’s high no matter where you go, but at least i’m paying for a place i love and call home. I have not seen anything about stealing packages here personally, as people in my building actually bring the packages in the building for each other so they aren’t kept outside. We hardly hear noise except for upstairs, but you gotta face it. It’s an apartment and not a house. You are gonna hear noise sometimes. Yes, there is a small presence of marijuana smell in the halls but it’s not bad enough to be a problem, and it definitely doesn’t go through my apartment. I did hear about the shooting, i heard it was nonresidents that people brought so it was no one actually associated with the apartments and crime is high is louisville. A shooting can happen anywhere and you can’t control what someone else does so i don’t know what people expect the management to do about that. It’s very quiet in the community which is rather nice, you see friendly people all the time. I think some people in the reviews are rather picky and view themselves as more entitled than others based on the way they describe other residents. I love living here and i think i will be here a while

Everything about the property is awesome! My family recently moved into Kendal on Taylorsville while in transition of selling and building a new home. The entire staff is top notch! Office staff (always planning the best community events) and maintenance crew are the most responsive and friendly group of guys ever! Today our new maintenance team member Lionell came and fixed my dishwasher that I needed so much! He was kind, and based on his experience knew exactly what to look for. Very proud to be a resident of this community!

This has been the best apartment home/community I’ve lived in 13 years. There seems to be staff changes, but everyone has been very helpful and courteous. I feel like I’m living in a nice home, not a typical apartment. Focus has definitely been placed where it matters most, kitchen and bedrooms and closet space.

As a wedding planner I have had the opportunity to work with many Venues and their Directors. I must say, working with Kendal’s Property Manager- Jaleesa Harmon and her team was by far my most pleasant experience. Julissa was extremely accommodating and because of her collaborative spirit and expertise our Bride, Groom and guests had an extraordinary time. Came in today for a tour of the model, and Kelly was absolutely fabulous! I didn’t have an appointment, but she made it work to fit me in since I happened to be nearby. The model home is stunning – open floor plan, beautiful kitchen, spacious rooms. Seems like a wonderful place to live!

I looked for a luxury apartment that had close access to life necessities (bank, grocery, spirits, restaurant) & terrific grounds. I wanted sidewalks, a pool & patio plus, an on-site workout & laundry facility. I visited here first but had scheduled 2 other visits. In honoring those appts, the other prosperities had nothing on the Kendal. For the price, the on-site mgmt team & maintenance staff plus everything else described above, I love it at the Kendal. The neighbors are friendly, there are great options for kids with the pool, playground, & sidewalks for bikes. I like the numerous trash stations for our pet owners. Everyone here seems to take pride in making our campus an elite living experience.
The community is good. But what made this place great was the maintenance team, in particular Donnie. He was always friendly and provided good advise whenever I asked.

Kendal is a great place. Affordable compared to other luxury apts, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, quiet neighborhood, really clean. Staff knows you by name on sight and what apt you’re in. Very friendly people, very organized. They really care about their tenants. My cat ran off of a week, the office sent out a newsletter with my cats picture and the whole complex was on the lookout. My neighbor found him and knocked on my door. Maintenance staff on top of their game. Never had a maintenance service as good as this one at any other apt complex. You’ll get to know Donnie, he’s very friendly and knows his stuff. It’s not often I leave such positive reviews, but this one is well deserved. I’ve been living here for the past year, and I can’t honestly think of one criticism.

I have lived at Kendal for 2 years now and I have to give an appreciation shout out to Donnie and the rest of the maintenance crew as well as the front office staff. They are always prompt to respond to any questions or needs and maintenance is always completed in a timely manner. I came home over the weekend to an 87 degree apartment, my AC went out (which I think was due to my error after trying to change the batteries). I put a request in and then saw Donnie shortly after and not only did he know who I was, he told me he would be up to fix it ASAP and he was true to his word. I got home from work to a very cool and relaxing apartment. I just wanted to give them the recognition they deserve and would recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a great place to live!

Kendal on Taylorsville has provided me with an apartment that I proudly consider my home. People are in awe at just how nice my apartment is, when they come to visit. I am surrounded by awesome neighbors, there is a sense of community here and I feel safe. The office staff is extremely professional and very friendly. The maintenance guys are awesome and will go out of there way to help with any problem. Moving to Kendal is easily one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. I highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for an upscale living experience.
